The marine environment represents a relatively untapped source of biologically active compounds that can be applied to various aspects of pharmaceutical, nutritional, cosmetic and industrial uses.

Seagarden produces and develops natural marine-derived protein-, carbohydrate-, lipid- and nucleotide-based bioactive compounds, or combinations of these such as proteoglycans and lipoproteins.

Seagarden’s bioactive product ranges include chitin- and protein based marine bioactives for use in anti-arthritic and anti-aging functional food products, as well as microencapsulated aquaculture larval feeds. Additionally, Seagarden has a strong product development pipeline including new proprietary immune-modulatory and anti-inflammatory marine-derived bioactive compounds.

Fish Collagen – Collagen hydrolysate derived from North Atlantic cod.

Peptigard™ (patent pending) - Piglet and poultry growth-enhancer. Concentrate of bio-active peptides derived from fish, used as an alternative to spray dried porcine plasma for weaning pigs and poultry.
