Our collagen is made from the skin of the fish which is usually discarded. By repurposing these materials, we improve resource efficiency and reduce waste in the seafood industry. Startups and smaller customers, in particular, were interested in private labeling but struggled with the high minimum order quantities required by other manufacturers. By providing packaging services tailored to these smaller businesses, we’ve fostered mutual growth and developed strong partnerships. Many of these startups are now among our largest clients.

Seagarden has long been a participant, and this May in Geneva the innovative company stands extra strong with a record tally of eight people. All of us are super-excited to expand our knowledge and networks at the event.

Arild resides in Haugesund with his wife, who also works at Seagarden. The 44-year-old had heard both his wife and other acquaintances boast about the workplace, which piqued his interest in the company when he sought a career change.

While chance brought him to this position, he now thoroughly enjoys his role. – The friendly colleagues and interesting tasks make me look forward to going to work every day, says Adrian.

As CSO, his responsibilities include leading research and working closely with R&D and quality teams. He also contributes to the development and enhancement of new products and production processes. Geir Åsmund comes across as a sociable and outgoing person with a firm grasp of his subject matter.

When the opportunity for shift work at Seagarden arose, she accepted and commenced her on-the-job training. In the coming year, she is set to get her certification in production engineering. If I had the opportunity to choose my subject in school again, I would go for technology and industrial subjects.
